From what little I know the plan is pretty simple.
Claim that everyone who supports things like rights for the lgbt community, being anything but christian, thinking that healthcare for the poor and middle class is maybe a good idea, workers rights or sensible gun laws are ultra left wing nutjobs who hate America and also hate christians.

They have this really odd persecution complex where because they are so used to having all the power in the US to set the agenda and they are gooseberry fool scared of the nation slowly becoming more secular and more fair to everyone and the hard line christians will finally have to accept that they are indeed rather terrible when it comes to freedom of choice in how people live.

Doesn't matter what the report does or doesn't say, Teflon Don will just keep on dodging those justice bullets. There won't be any impeachment, and he'll win 2020.

I wouldn't be so sure. If he somehow makes it to 2020, I doubt he will be re-elected.

Trump expanded his support base to disaffected Democrats in crucial rust belt states last time. This time, it seems unlikely that he'll be able to retain that position.
