It's amazing the things you can get away with as a cop in the US. Surely they shouldn't allow criminals to continue in the police force.

Fox News will no doubt cover the real breaking news of some firemen getting a cat out of a tree or Bernie Sanders has been caught eating French Toast thus proving he's an agent of the french ultra left wing socialist party.

Listening to the Republicans (and some of the Dems to be fair) questioning Cohen is pretty depressing. They all sound so ... amateurish, for want of a better word. Or lacking in any real value and integrity to what they say.

Everyone just seems to be trying to hammer home a particular soundbite or show boating, it's like listening to a bunch of school kids having a debate. :dread:

There's no evidence just Cohens word. Stone and Trump will just deny the whole thing.

There is no collusion

After your prediction on the Cooper amendment, I am now expecting Trump to be in jail by this evening. ;)

It's kind of passed by reasonably quietly. Stunning allegations but because Cohen has been convicted of lying, Trump gets away with virtually no damage. It was kind of a pointless exercise to be honest.

I think Trump cut the North Korea talks short to change the news cycle too.

Cohen is just the start. We've still got plenty people to come, some of which could back up Cohen other than all the documents, all of which could confess to crimes/charged with lying to FBI and/or Congress -

Donald Trump Jr. - Many potential crimes & info
Ivanka Trump - Moscow Tower & info
Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg - Many potential crimes & info
David Pecker, the CEO of American Media Inc. - Campaign finance crimes & info
Roger Stone - Wikileaks
Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow (and others) - Editing Comey statement, Obstruction of Justice
Paul Manafort. - Many potential crimes & info, will have similar credibility problems
Deutsche Bank - Trump Fraud, subpoena Trump's tax records
An insurance company - Trump Fraud, subpoena Trump's tax records
Jared Kushner - Many crimes & info
Cory Lewandowski - Russian Tower
Rhona Graff, Trumps assistant for 30 years - info
Trump foundation

Then you've got documents -

The various documents Cohen provided
Trumps Tax records - Tax crimes
Trumps Grades/SATs - unlikely but might prove embarrassing

"Cohen: Aware of another 'illegal act' Trump has committed, says SDNY investigating"

Then you've got Mueller & SDNY with crimes, documents & people we've not heard of yet.

Trump’s a racist conman – and that’s the brand America bought...

Cohen illustrated what an emotionally, morally and socially stunted little man America has for a president. He recounted how Trump took money from his own charity and ordered a fake bidder to buy a picture of himself at an inflated price in a auction of celebrity portraits so that his would be the most expensive. Then he tweeted his surprise. “Just found out that at a charity auction of celebrity portraits in E. Hampton, my portrait by artist William Quigley topped list at $60K.”
