Clinton had fabulous tits when she was younger, so AOC is a worthy successor. :datass:

I think he's forgotten that his tweets are public. It's just aimless rambling at this point 93%?

Reminds me of this article from Politico:

But if you still think of Trump as the tweeter-in-chief, master of the pithy insult and well-placed exclamation point, just visit his feed. The crisp, unpredictable tweets from the start of his presidency have largely become rambling and verbose. His account is weirdly turgid, loaded with ponderous attacks on his perceived enemies and obscure multipart arguments about his legal situation. At other times, it veers as close as Trump has ever sounded to Washingtonesque.

...

Note the defensive posture, the multiple messages jumbled into one, the catchphrases breathlessly piled atop one another. This Trump sounds more like a kid trying to talk his way out of detention than the communications savant who took over the 2016 campaign 140 characters at a time.

The gooseberry fool that Fox news gets away with is pretty disgusting.
They have opinion presenters on at prime time who they will laughably claim aren't journalists even though the fans all take what they say as gospel. They are comically partisan while trying to claim they're balanced.

Any channel that has both Hannity and Tucker Carlson at the top is going to find being impartial impossible. Both are utter twats who would never get jobs in the UK simply because they can't interview someone they disagree with without being condescending and rude.

While the UK is nowhere near as bad, we are heading that way.

I don't think we have the same kind of news channels though.
We certainly don't have dedicated opinion piece anchors on news stations as I believe we have rules about news channels being impartial. I think most people here want a news channel to be actual news where it feels like an afterthought on Fox news.

The BBC news channel has a really good show called Reporters where a panel of reporters from around the world all pop in and have a chat about the news and can be quite heated but in a nice and polite way. Fox news would never show that as it isn't bombastic enough and isn't massively slanted towards the right.

Fox news is a total joke of a channel and anyone thinking they're a good source of actual news is sadly deluded.

Yes, that’s why I said we are heading that way. At the moment we have impartiality rules. I’m not convinced those rules will still be there in a decade or two.

From the outside looking in, UK News has become at times AWUL with Channel 4 news being the only exception. The BBC have handled major topics dreadfully, namely Brexit and the continuing fallout.

I literally only trust RTE about things now as they simply report the facts, BBC seem great at doing the same but when it comes to Brexit facts go out the window, it's horrifying.

I'm more optimistic and feel we have a decent balance now and that there's no real push for change to US style news services.

The way things are going we'll have been officially declared the 51st within that time frame so we absolutely will be just as bad as them!

Are you being serious?

You trust a Russian state run media service to give honest news? That's about as odd as asking Man United TV to do a program about String Theory.

I’m glad your optimistic but the only thing stopping our media going full US are the regulations that are in place.

Post Brexit with US trade deals and influence pressing on the government, with US media companies looking to get into the UK market?

There’s a massive section of British society that would love to watch Farage present the 10 o’clock news on FoxUK News.

Oh.
Well, that's different then as I'm sure they're fine.

I'm expecting you to show me an amazing Man U TV 10 part series about String Theory hosted by Michio Kaku now :shifty: .
