You know what? I strawberry floating believe him. Only in a completely split from reality, utterly demented mind could Tim Apple be a sensible way of saying Tim Cook of Apple.

Personally when I watched it, I think he meant "Thanks to Tim, Apple,...".
Trump does get "picked" on by the media, even if he is an idiot.

Trump does get "picked" on by the media, because he is a dangerous idiot who is unfit for public office and doubly unfit to be the leader of a nation.

It seems that the right wing in the US are going to try the same tactics are they have tried, and unfortunately succeeded with, here. There probably are anti semites in the Democratic party, but I believe it is a tiny, tiny minority. The situation is probably very much the same in the UK and I certainly don't believe that Corbyn is one. The idea that any criticism of the Israeli regime is anti semitic is ridiculous, but many on the right seem to suggest that it is inextricably linked. In my view this is a totally transparent device to undermine the emergent progressive movement through out the world. Of course, any racism in politics should be stamped out, but the idea that it is the left that is most guilty of such activity is laughable. It has gained traction unfortunately, so any instances must be investigated and condemned, but equally, any false accusations must be strongly discredited.

I was waiting for the smoking gun in that clip and it never arrived. There’s nothing featured there that is particularly different from his Fox News slot, from what I’ve seen of him anyway.

Tucker Carlson is a smug twat who has zero interview skills other than sneering at guests and claiming all liberals are stupid.
He absolutely hates to be questioned by guests and will claim superior knowledge about any subject even if his guest has 40 years experience teaching or working in a particular field.

Tucker Carlson actually had a good segment recently when he had Tulsi Gabbard on. He let her make her point and he even went off script, appearing to be all for her policies

Paul Manafort has been sentenced to another 43 months in prison:
Donald Trump's ex-campaign chief Paul Manafort has been jailed for 43 more months on charges stemming from the Russia investigation.

It comes a week after the 69-year-old was given a 47-month prison sentence for fraud in a separate case.

The latest sentencing arises from two conspiracy charges Manafort pleaded guilty to last year.

He told the federal court in Washington DC that he wanted to apologise for his actions.

7.5 years total.

Now he's been charged with 16 crimes at state level:
New York Charges Paul Manafort With 16 Crimes. If He’s Convicted, Trump Can’t Pardon Him.

Paul J. Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, has been charged in New York with mortgage fraud and more than a dozen other state felonies, the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., said Wednesday, an effort to ensure he will still face prison time if Mr. Trump pardons him for his federal crimes.

News of the indictment came shortly after Mr. Manafort was sentenced to his second federal prison term in two weeks; he now faces a combined sentence of more than seven years for tax and bank fraud and conspiracy in two related cases brought by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.

The president has broad power to issue pardons for federal crimes, but has no such authority in state cases.

While Mr. Trump has not said he intends to pardon his former campaign chairman, he has often spoken of his power to pardon and has defended Mr. Manafort on a number of occasions, calling him a “brave man.”

The new state charges against Mr. Manafort are contained in a 16-count indictment that alleges a yearlong scheme in which he falsified business records to obtain millions of dollars in loans, Mr. Vance said in a news release after the federal sentencing.

“No one is beyond the law in New York,” he said, adding that the investigation by the prosecutors in his office had “yielded serious criminal charges for which the defendant has not been held accountable.”

Judge: This trial wasn't about Russian collusion.

Lawyer: Judge said there was no collusion!

Manafort's "otherwise blameless" life apparently involved bringing his wife with him as he traveled the world, making her have sex with his business associates against her will, i.e. forcing her to be raped by his buddies.
