It’s terrifying just how easily and willingly a population would welcome in a fascist regime.

The Star Wars prequels were gooseberry fool but the line “So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause” was absolutely true.

It is rather shocking how many Americans are willing to make Trump completely above the law and able to just change the rules as he sees fit.

Republicans used to be the party of the constitution now they will claim they still are while completely ignoring it or changing it whenever it says something they don't like. They honestly feel they are the only people who're smart enough to run the country and that liberalism is a mental illness (meaning all of Europe is mentally ill because we're all massive socialists according to them) that must be eradicated or the US will collapse.

I'd love to see an actual peaceful split of the USA so all US conservatives can live in the wonderland they seem to want with ultra limited government and almost zero regulations just to watch the corporations completely screw them over with slave level wages (because unions are for pansies) and environmental destruction on an epic scale.
