He definitely should, but I'm not sure Trump will be there for the change over....

It's pretty shocking the best they have to fight Biden is his sons laptop, the fact he's a senile man (when your candidate is DONALD strawberry floating TRUMP) and his lack of rallies during a pandemic.

I think the senile man attacks have hurt Trump if anything, the younger demographics don't see him as that different in age to Trump (because he isn't) and the oldest demographic are annoyed at Trump for it.

It's not even Hunter Biden's laptop. The story is years ago a blind Trump supporter who runs a computer shop in Delaware (Hunter Biden lived in California) was given a laptop to fix by someone the blind man claims is Hunter Biden. The store doesn't have CCTV and "Hunter Biden" never came back to collect the laptop.

Years later the blind man suddenly somehow realised he had Hunter Biden's laptop which had a load of dodgy stuff on it and gave it to impartial source Steve Bannon who passed it onto Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani of course is a highly intelligent man who's never been used as a conduit by Russia to spread disinformation and can't be tricked by a bullshit story.

Suffice to say the story was rejected by everyone except the Murdoch tabloid The New York Post.

Weren't there actually legit pics of Hunter Biden leaked from the laptop though? Not that I think it's relevant, it is Joe Biden that is standing and you can't hold him responsible for the actions of his son.

The polls look really encouraging. I am going to laugh my ass off if Biden wins by a massive landslide. The republicans will very, very quickly turn on Trump if he loses big, just wait and see.

Anyone can download a picture of a public figure off the internet and manipulate it. If you've got the budget (because you're Russia or the creator of South Park) you can make convincing deep fake videos.

the scary thing is i feel the atmosphere is so bonkers in the us at the moment that Russia could openly interfere and Trump would resist as he can just say "Dems are making up Russian involvement - fake news!" and Republicans would buy it

Yes and no - the electorate is more likely to listen to law enforcement on that issue, so Trump could deny it all he wants but if the FBI were to confirm it he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.

Russia undoubtedly have the ability to interfere with the legitimacy of voting systems and they have definitely been doing it in the west for at least the last 10 years. I genuinely don't think they care if Biden or Trump get elected, they just want to sow decision, and I'd say they have been largely successful in the UK and US (their two main rivals). They got Trump elected in 2016 and I think they have been playing both sides in 2020.

They want a divided US government with no real power over policy, they want to cause confusion and mistrust. I think Obama was wise to it and he was genuinely great and putting in sanctions that hurt Russia. Trump went soft on them for obvious reasons.

The west needs to get wise to it and play Putin at his own game. He is the only one to have prospered internationally since 2016.

That seems to be an inflated sense of the importance of the United Kingdom. I don't doubt there's been Russian interference in our politics, and that it's strategic, but I'd imagine they'd be much more interested in the German, Chinese or possibly even Japanese governments as genuine rivals. British influence on the world stage has been in decline for 100 years. :shifty:
