Weed is cheap and stays in your system for awhile. Cocaine is a rich person drug that leaves your system quickly. As ever, the motivations are blatant, it's not actually about drugs it's just another tool to try and oppress the poor and minorities and keep them in their place.

Also helps drive the belief that poor people who need welfare are feckless, demotivated and lazy, who are liable to spend the money on drugs. It's the weed stopping them getting a job and supporting society and paying their dues, definitely not other socio-economic reasons.

If you're rich you're therefore hard-working and deserve all the cocaine you can get.

I imagine it doesn't help with the way the drugs affect people, and the perception of those who take them. Weed makes people 'lazy stoner' types, who like to sit around, watch bad films and eat a bit too much. Cocaine is for productive people in skyscrapers who make millions each morning, and gives them the edge they need. I can see how in the eyes of dickheads they can beleive that cocaine helps people contribute to society, but weed just makes people layabouts.

What has Biden done now?

He's backing Israel completely. I know its not a black and white issue but America's unconditional support of Israel regardless of whatever war crimes they commit or whatever human rights they violate is one of the reasons they can carry on getting away with it.

New York prosecutor says Trump inquiry now 'criminal'

The New York attorney general's office says it is investigating the Trump Organization "in a criminal capacity".

A spokesman for the state's top prosecutor, Letitia James, said the inquiry into Mr Trump's property company was "no longer purely civil".

Ms James has been scrutinising the ex-Republican president's financial dealings before he took office.

The Trumps deny wrongdoing and say the inquiry by a Democratic prosecutor is a political vendetta.

Ms James' spokesman, Fabien Levy, told the BBC on Tuesday: "We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the Organization is no longer purely civil in nature.

"We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA. We have no additional comment."

The statement did not say what turned the inquiry from civil to criminal in nature, or whether the former president himself might be personally implicated in any allegations.

Do possible criminals always get warned in advance they are being investigated for a crime like this?

According to a new book, Obama called Trump a “madman”, a “racist, sexist pig”, “that strawberry floating lunatic” and a “corrupt mummy strawberry floater”.

He's not wrong.

Extracts of Dovere’s candid reporting have been published elsewhere – including a passage in which the now first lady, Jill Biden, is quoted as saying now Vice-President Kamala Harris should “go strawberry float herself” after a memorable debate-stage attack on Joe Biden early in the primary.
