If the leadership hates Trump, the rank and file probably don't view him favorably either. All the headlines Trump makes where the military is concerned are negative - always gooseberry fool talking them.

I don't think they miss the fact that he's a draft dodging rich boy who got them killed in Niger and laughed about it.

I don't understand why Pompeo hasn't been taken into custody yet. His earlier comments were a literal statement of sedition. It doesn't matter if this ultimately fails - they all absolutely must spend the rest of their lives in prison.

'Spose that's exactly what makes our current situation extra spicy, nothing like backing the guys with the nukes into a corner. :dread:

This is excellent Cora! Was your pitch inspired by the Lindsay Ellis video by any chance?

No, I'd never heard of her until recently and only watched that after creating the pitch(Banjo can vouch for me here)! I actually take a vastly different stance on the subject than she does and am focusing on stuff from specific music genres that I think she glossed over a wee bit. I've no idea how I would go about doing it but there's a guy called Scott Goodstein who worked on the Punk Voter initiative and ended up doing some digital campaign work for Obama in 2008 who I'd love to have a few words with on the subject.

Well at least you're off to a good start!

Yeah, it's not one of her better videos. She seemed to want to write about Green Day then created a hypothesis to allow her to do that as, like you say, she glosses right over a bunch of stuff from that time period.

Looking forward to reading the finished product!

So 12 cases. No victories. One judge basically asked why the lawyer was even there in the first place.

But yes, there is voter fraud apparently. Getting so sick of this.

Fraud on a scale nobody thought possible. Fraud, quite frankly, like nobody has ever seen before, possibly in the history of our country. When I try and explain it to people they, like, can't believe it. They can't believe it. They say to me 'Mr. President, this is crazy.'

I do love the constant cut backs to that strawberry floating Toby Keith song though. Absolutely crazy bit of music.

I watched it and didn't get a single play of Franco-Unamerican by NOFX so I'm out.

Not to give too much away but NOFX and Fat Mike are hugely important to my argument that alternative, punk and metal music served as an important marker for anti-war sentiment in the Bush era. He did an insane amount of campaigning for John Kerry!

It’s been estimated(and I haven’t verified this tbf) that his Punk Voter site might’ve encouraged as many as 100,000 people to register. It inspired right wing punk news blogs to form in opposition, and a member of the Offspring even (allegedly) donated $10,000 to Punk Voter’s running costs.
