In terms of the GOP, some (most?) appear to have effectively disowned the Trumpster.
Now, whether Teflon Don's base will see this as a betrayal of their Supreme Leader, and no longer vote for the Republicans, that is up in the air. Like Moggy I think it's probably hopeful at best, but time will ultimately tell.
I'd like Trump to run as an Independent in 2024 because it would effectively hand the election to the Democrats, but more importantly, it could be the wedge that absolutely splinters the Rs and that would be a glorious, glorious thing.
That said, I'm torn because of my desire to see Annoying Orange indicted and incarcerated, so I guess I'll take what I can get.
