I think it is too early to call. There are rumblings already about Republicans in the Senate who will back it and that could reallt gather momentum if they believe they'll be better off in the long run ensuring Trump can't run in 2024.

Anything is possible. But I have next to zero hope they'll find him guilty at a Senate trial.

Yes. Looks like nine or ten Republicans have voted to impeach so far, which is apparently the most votes for impeachment to come from a president's supporting party.
