Eh, TNT did the Dallas reboot that sucked. CW had pretty good success in the past with their 90210 reboot so it isn't that surprising.

Yeah Mr Mercedes was a good adaptation. I thought the second book was the worst of the trilogy though so I'm hoping they can smooth out the rough edges.

I assume all 3 are about the same two characters and if so is there a big time gap between book 1 and two and was the shows ending faithful to the books?
