There’s no chance of a decent finish to it if they’ve only just announced its cancellation, they always seem to end each series on some sort of cliffhanger or they sow the seeds for the main storyline in the next series.

Brooklyn 99 is sad to see, but if no one picks up the Expanse, that is the real tragedy. It has been great this season too.

Probably getting too expensive to continue, given that it has several big names in its cast, and after x number of seasons, their salary sees a 25-50% bump.

I'm pretty confident Netflix will pick up The Expanse, it's already billed as a Netflix Original in the UK isn't it?

Netflix hasn't picked up a recently cancelled show in 3 and a half years but with their emphasis on Sci-fi & fantasy you never know.

It is fantastic and deserves a new home as it's top quality science fiction with a decent story, top drawer special effects and a great cast. Well worth a binge watch if you haven't seen it.

Yeah, genuinely gutted about that. I never got Brooklyn 99 but the Expanse was/is one of the best sci-fi shows on TV.
