Just watched Arrow S08E04

What the actual strawberry float was that?

Olivers adult kids from the future now inexplicably arrive in the present day, has Barry been strawberry floating up time again?

Earth 2 Laurel though :datass:

I’m assuming C4 would have needed to pay more to get the episodes at the same time as the US.

I’ll definitely be meseeking other means to watch the new season I think.

Channel 4 doesn't even deserve our coy euphemisms; I plan to commit piracy & download these episodes as soon as possible.

Anyone know of a site I can watch the new Rick and Morty on? Streaming only as I’ll be on an IPad.

Monitor has been dragging people from across the multiverse whenever he wants. I don't think there's much mystery there.

Rick and Morty was pretty good

Fairly ‘standard’ episode without getting into any ongoing plot/arc. Seemed to take some swipes at the more toxic elements of their fan base too

It does but then offsets it immediately by having hologram Rick as a stereotypical liberal offence hound so yeah. It felt very South Park/"Caring about anything is stupid" esque. What are you gonna do?

It was fine. One or two chuckles but that's it.

Not seen the new episode yet but they've been taking swipes at the fan base for a while now, unfortunately the part of the fan base they are trying to target with these things don't really get it.

Both Arrow and The Flash are the same, the acting is pretty poor and the plot is all over the place yet they're oddly enjoyable.

I've downloaded the first two episodes (not watched yet) but can't download anything else until I get my Usenet access sorted out (went to renew my 1TB data allowance only to discover they no longer accept Paypal and haven't been able to find another provider that offers a similar service that accepts Paypal).

Four episodes in and I'm hooked.

Seems on a par with early Arrow/Flash seasons although with far more lesbian drama (not an issue as such, just not that relatable to a straight guy with almost zero relationship experience).

Like the main villain too, I'm assuming she's an altered female version of Mad Hatter or something (not particularly that knowledgeable about the more obscure Batman villains).

Edit: a quick look on Wikipedia reveals that Alice is an entirely different character who also has an Alice in Wonderland obsession.

Also read up on a couple of other DC characters from the Arrow/Flash series (the proper Harbinger/Lyla Michaels is so different from the TV version).
