Started watching Ted Lasso and Severance.

Ted Lasso I'm very iffy on. It really feels like the idea came from or a skit or its better suited to a stage play or something. It comes across as terribly low budget and it's just a constant distraction how dumb the whole thing is. It's watchable for sure but it's very sparse on laughs and the setup is so paper thin there's barely anything else there. I can see myself sticking with it for 1 season at least though.

Severance however I'm absolutely loving. It's such a brilliant premise and the horror undercurrent is very cool and gives the show a great vibe. Some great casting as well and the aesthetic is brilliant, very Control.

The strawberry float have they done to Quantum Leap?

I've pretty much stopped watching USTV at this point, its either utter gooseberry fool that inexplicably gets 8+ seasons or on the increasingly rare occasions I find something I like it invariably gets canceled, never to reach a conclusion.

I'll watch stuff on Netflix/Amazon when its actually ended but otherwise I just don't bother anymore.

They understood they were gonna get crucified if the rebooted the series so they went with a parallel story to Sam's with different characters.

Probably gonna be gooseberry fool though.

I get that, from what I remember (was fairly young when I saw it and a lot of it went over my head) some of the people Sam leapt to had some horrible gooseberry fool to deal with that a modern day setting wouldn't work with if they did a 1:1 retelling.

This, wait until the whole series is finished and then find out if the ending was any good, or they just kept going because they could *cough walking dead*.
