Watched like 5 eps of Black Lightning and it's a super weird show. They're trying to tell a season long story more like the netflix than CW shows but every single episode follows a rigid broadcast tv structure, so even when the plot needs something else you still get the Family scene, Principal Scenes, Kids without parent around, Black Lightning Planning, villain talking and Black Lightning in action scenes structured together in some order.

So despite having a plot that's constantly moving forward it still manages to feel super repetitive.

Netflix has opted not to renew mockumentary comedy series American Vandal for a third season. I hear producing studio CBS TV Studios is fielding incoming interest in the Funny Or Die show from other potential buyers.

Quite enjoying the Rookie, took me too long to realise that it was 2 from Dark Matter staring opposite Nathan Fillion. Which is kinda funny as Dark Matter was kinda an attempt at Firefly
