Starting a rewatch of Fringe. I absolutely don't remember Lance Reddick having beef with Olivia because he stands up for his rapist best friend that she investigated. :dread:

I at least have a strong hope the rest of the show will mostly hold up better than the likes of Lost and Chuck.

Huh, I started watching fringe the other day too. Thankfully it seems that seems to have been dropped and forgotten about very quickly. I'm halfway through season 1 and feel it's holding up quite well - if you ignore the bits of dialogue clearly there to catch up people who missed previous episodes, which can be a bit grating.

Thursday - Season finale of Search Party.

The last two episodes of the Expanse (today's release and last week's) feel like the same episode written slightly different ways. If this last season is 10 episodes like the ones before, then the last episode is next week and I don't know how they can resolve what's going on satisfactorily.

The next one, episode 10, is the finale of season 5. Yeah, I've binged this season and have to say I think it's the weakest so far. Breaking the team up for the whole season I don't think was the best idea; and the Naomi storyline has been rather turgid/dragged out, as has Amos on Earth. Avasarala though :wub:

I've enjoyed the season, the Naomi and Avasarala storylines in particular have been real emotional rollercoasters, but isn't this the last one they're making? It feels like this season should happen between two more epic scope seasons, or at least that this season should be 15 episodes to accommodate the full scope of what's going on.

The book this season is (mainly) based on is definitely the weakest in the series so it's hardly surprising.

Also, Alvin, the next season will be the last one apparently. No idea how they can finish the whole thing in 10 episodes as there's another 2 books worth of story left.

Sixth season will be the last. Agree with the general sentiment that this season has felt the weakest of the bunch despite arguably being the most dramatic.

Not looking forward to this new season of Snowpiercer if episode one is anything to go by.

That's bittersweet news. I hope the next season is longer than this one.

I've not read the books, though now I would like to get the audiobooks if I can buy them without needing a subscription,
