Just picked mine up this morning. I not quite sure why I bought it.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Played a bit. Did Desk job game they made for the console and played xeno crisis. Had a weird problem getting the controls working in either game. Restarting fixed the issue though.

The thumb sticks seem a bit too high as well. It's a very nice device though.

I've played mine almost every day since getting it. It's my favourite bit of kit.

I'm a lot more sold on the Steam Deck. It is really the most convenient way to game.

Anyone use Decky-Loader for plugins? The Vibrantdeck plugin is actually quite decent, while it doesn't obviously change the fact the screen isn't OLED it does give a nice vibrancy to games and unlike ReShade it seems to work on all running games.

Civ VI is only £7.49 on Steam - or the game and whole bundle of add-ons is £26.49.

So how's everyone getting on with their Decks?

Anyone using custom boot screens? Or messed around with CSS Loader?

Thought the Gamecube boot screen would stroke that nostalgia feeling but it's been beaten by the Steamcast one

Just a tip, if your on Facebook follow Pixel Deck they do a great job doing extensive testing to find the best settings with getting games to run as smooth along with looking as good as possible on the Deck. Bought another SD card (1tb Amazon Basics) so tons of games installed now with the added ability of hot swapping the cards is great.

That really is a trip. If someone can do one with the SEGA audio startup that would be cool.

When do you guys expect a Deck 2?
Do you think it'll make an apearence in 2023 or would that be seen as a sort of slap in the face of Deck 1 owners?
What improvements other than the standard slightly more powerful do you expect? Will they go with these new sticks that seem to iliminate stick drift?
