:slol:

If this is a complete PC and it takes off I’ll jump on this on the first revision I’ll jump right into this. Potentially sell off my XsX and PS5 and just run with a Switch and Steam Deck (well, depending how well games run on it)

I wonder if the insiders got confused and thought this was actually the Switch Pro, I don’t recall this being rumoured anywhere before launch (which is how it should be of course) but obviously we’ve had leak after leak for the apparent Switch Pro that didn’t happen

Maybe the steam logo peels off and reveals a Nintendo Switch one underneath

 Was just a thought I had with the title of this thread, if some secrets did leak out about a powerful, new Switch like handheld most people would think it was a Switch Pro rather than a Steam device

Over 100k pre-orders not including the 64GB version, if that transfers to sales...

This was a question earlier. Might be a nice way to save over the next few months. You are sort of committed if you rack up £500 worth of steam credit given how bad their sales are…

You got a source for the Valve confirmation? If so, I might start buying £50 credit a month. Sounds like a really good idea, actually.

raw sauce

My main issue is, i can't find any of the good old deals where you could buy £50 credit for £42 cash :(

Nice. Backs up Reddit. Looking for cheap steam credit now.

Also, you could trade a load of old stuff in at game and use the credit in the shop to buy a load of steam wallet cards. I've done that with Nintendo credit before.

I've actually got £155 for my ps4 trade in ages ago in prep for ps5 (which game still don't let you use towards a preorder) so i might go buy steam credit from game with the 155. Thanks for the idea.

I saw that, it's not such a great saving.

Edit:

wtf is this, no steam credit purchases?

That is strange, they were on there yesterday. No discount at all tough.

i ended up using my 155 to get 160 of steam credit in game physically. the store clerk 'i see what you're doing'. the other store clerk 'i don't like games'. it was a strange experience.

I like new tech so intrigued by this despite not being a pc gamer. Having recently bought a Win10 laptop I have tried a small number of Game Pass games on there although apart from FM21, not really liked the keyboard and trackpad use.

I thought I’d check my Steam account anyways......I own just 2 games! Company of Heroes 2 and FM2016!

Don’t think it’s worth me ordering one of these really!

Building up a Steam library is pretty cheap compared to console gaming to be fair. The average price of my games on steam is probably about £20 compared to consoles where everything is extortionate, even in the sales!

Checked out the PlayStation Summer Sale this morning - all the PS5 games which are discounted are still over £50!

I’m all in on my series X this gen. Game Pass is active until early 2023 and there’s more already installed on my X than I can play and finish in the next 5-10 years I’d say (gaming is very time limited for me now).

My Switch hasn’t been used in 2 yrs and stares at me every day from underneath the TV
