These are super special though so 2 pairs will be fine.
As long as I don't look quite as stupid as I did when I was a kid and had a pair of what I thought were awesome wraparound mirrored shades I should be fine.

I thought I looked like such a cool dude though :fp: .

I just wish I had the self confidence to wear a pair like it now :shifty: .

I received a Parcelforce tracking number in the early hours of this morning so had my hopes up for a delivery today. No change to the status yet though so looking more and more likely to be Monday.

Can't really complain but would've been a bonus to have it for the weekend.

Exciting!

I'm still not completely sold on how it looks to be fair. Interested to finally have it in my hands to see how it looks and feels up close.

I finally got my order email but I let it expire as I don't need a new device just now.

It arrived. Smaller box than I expected. Gotta wait until home time before I can have a look.

Look forward to hearing your impressions. I'm still mighty tempted.

Same here. If there was no waiting list, I reckon I’d already have jumped.

There was a post about a Steam Deck V2 but it got deleted.

Is it not happening?

Link didn't work and there are no other stories about it as far as I could find.

Pretty sure that was someone trying to pull a fast one.

It deem seem like a rather short time between revisions.
They will do one, just not yet I feel.

Yeah I looked around after trying the dead link. Think it was a gag - nothing about a v2 reported anywhere.

I saw the post, and replied, but my reply got deleted as well so an embarrassed mod just trying to hide the evicence :slol:

The url was also for "valve.com" which isn't even Valve's website (Their site is valvesoftware.com and it doesn't actually have a news section, it's basically their recruitment website)

It would seem a bit silly given that I only just finally got my pre-order turn the same day and likely there are people still waiting.
Valve need to get enough stock of the first Deck so that people can finally buy them freely first.

The absolute earliest I can see even talk of a Steam Deck successor is 2024.
