Vampire Survivors (Steam, Game Pass) OUT NOW

Got the last of the achievements for this last night, excellent game and probably my GOTY.

Just tremendously satisfying to make a build that utterly annihilates everything as it spawns on screen.

Posting in the right thread this time. :shifty:

Died at 29:30 on a run earlier.

I've unlocked the map now, so I'm slowly working my way through some of the icons on there too see what extra stuff can be unlocked. There's some cool additional level specific upgrades on there that you could easily organise a while build around.

Indeed! I thought it was the bees' knees when I got it, but I don't like the item that evolves it and I'm not keen on the evolution either.

Garlic is a great early game weapon tbf, but over time the advantages it brings are covered by other things that are also better in their own way

Yeah I really loved it too, but ultimately it's compromised because the evo also functions as a 'healing' item.

It's all about building the ultimate corpse grinder these days. DPS is king!

On the other hand the combination of evolved Whip and evolved garlic render you basically immortal.

Urgh, beat the last boss and he didn't drop the item he's supposed to. I like the game but it's glitchy as strawberry float sometimes.

Was having a great time in Gallo Tower. I'd fully evolved 6 weapons by 20 minutes in and had made it all the way up to level 85, but when the boss spawned in it absolutely melted me in no time. :lol:

Just popped the last achievement, 25 hours on the clock. Overall a fun little game, but I did start to tire of it towards the end. Balancing kinda goes out of the window when you unlock all the insane weapons and powers.

I don’t think I realised the breadth of just how much STUFF there is to unlock in this. Nor how weird it gets! Absolutely love it.

I've unlocked limit break and endless modes....played for 1 hour 30 mins before quitting. Still more things to unlock and find. Hugely addictive game.

This game is fantastic. Such simple design with excellent implementation.

That fact that it's a free HTML5 game makes it all the better.
