I like the look of it, looks like Shriek might be a part of it? Also little nod to the Spidey universe near the start with Daily Bugle, will they tie them in finally?

I mean even leaving aside the bizarre tone- why isn't Carnage red?

Looks fairly red to me.

The poster is red. In the trailer Carnage is black with a orange tinge.

Yeah Venom is muscly because Brock was a big bodybuilder guy. He didn't look like that when he was with Spider-Man. Carnage is a lot smaller and visually distinct to Venom.

Tonally it looks all over the place, but then so did the first Venom movie so I guess they're being consistent in a way.

Delayed a month until October now, wonder if that will have an effect on Spider-Man?

I'm actually kind of looking forward to this. Venom was a throwback to a time when superhero films were knowingly nonsense and not trying to be earnest or gritty, and I thought it was refreshing. If this is as completely OTT as it looks then I'm here for it. :slol:

Still looks like a fun little side-project just like Venom was. I was drunk as watching Venom with a mate and honestly it was fun. Not saying I've got high hopes but I've got no reason to doubt it'll be the same mindless fun the first one was.
