Well, considering that Joker knows he cannot beat Batman in a straight fist fight (and so far I've never seen The Joker fighting him directly in any Batman media like the films and games), so Clayface is a better option. In my opinion.

And I feel like a GOD. Why? I got all the bloody Riddler trophies without almost any help. 8-) The hardest one has to be hit all six switches in a very short time. :x

All I need to do is the Calender Man's dates (strawberry float all that waiting for the right dates), AR challenges (oh strawberry float), The Riddler's Physical Challenges.

Then it's off to the Challenge Rooms for medals (I doubt I'll manage to perfect the whole thing.)

The problem is that I panicked when the bloody enemies swarm you and multiple counter indications goes off at the same time so I doubt I'll manage the get all move variations in a single combo.

Then... New Game +? I don't know.

You fight Joker directly in Batman Vengeance. It was released on Gamecube, voiced by the BTAS cast and was pretty good.

And I think he does in Mask of the Phantasm.

I see The Joker as a character that would not risk confronting Batman face-to-face.

I've just got two riddler physical challenges to go. strawberry floating gliding for 250 meters is boring me. :fp:

I love the way most people's experience of Arkham City seems to go thus:

1. Woah there is so much to do, not sure if i'm ready for this
2. Not really enjoying this so far, don't know how to do these riddler trophies
3. Complain on here that its not great and arkham asylum was better
4. Leave the game for a few weeks
5. Go back and play a bit more
6. ZOMFG BEST GAME EVAR!
7. Profit?

I wouldn't say that I said this isn't a great game. But Arkham Asylum is the better game.

I think I liked this better, simply by virtue of having more.

I see them more as a part 1 & 2 of the same game if you get me?

Both are utterly fantastic.

Woo! Got all 440 Riddler Trophies/Physical Challenges.

Also I surprised myself by finishing off the Batcomputer AR side missions without any frustation. So my original game is 100% done.

Now for New Game Plus. I see that I need to finish all the side missions again.

Thank god that the Riddler trophies and Riddler Physical Challenges are carried over! Couldn't bear doing some of the hard Riddler trophies again.

When starting a New Game Plus, I noticed Penguin cowering after the first proper battle. So I went over to beat him up, only to see Bruce Wayne dragon punched him out cold.  Missed that the first time around.

Where did Batman's refusal to kill come from? If he just carried a gun things would be so much simpler. The amount of times he's had his hands on the Joker and other super-baddies only for them to get away and cause havoc is ridiculous. Just kill the pricks.

*comic geek time*

Batman's refusal to kill is central to the character. The moment the bullets hit Martha and Thomas Wayne young Bruce Wayne ceased to be - instead their was Batman. He doesn't use guns and he doesn't kill. That IS Batman and it is all linked to the origin. A guy who was torn about by two deaths can never use killing. No matter the circumstance, no matter how much the person may deserve it - Batman can't kill for the memory of how much two killings effected him as a child.

That and it would be a whole lot less interesting.

Finished. Overall not as good as Arkham Asylum. For starters felt a lot shorter, but also a lot less variety. Still cool though.

And as for Batman not killing people, he should just forget his ideals. They're stupid.

Surely if Arkham City has anything going for it it is that it has more variety than the first game. It's jam packed with things to do!

I think AA is an amazing game and was a real 'wow' moment, great fun. Arkham city can be a bit overwhelming given how much they have tried to cram in, but I preferred it to the original. I preferred the story and hostages, and the additional characters. It's a fair point that the open nature struggles at first when certain gadgets are locked, but it felt more open than AA.

Both awesome games, my favourite series on the 360.

But then if he do kill them, he is a murderer. Which makes him no better than his enemies. Might as well remove his batsuit, going around stealing cars and ride them over the hos.

Side Mission Spoiler:
Remember that Batman took offence that Orcale is implying that he may be the Identity Thief, under control of Hugo Strange?

AAAAARGH! How the strawberry float can they end it like that?!

Final fight was a bit meh, but you know who doing you know what was handled pretty well even though the overall impact was somewhat lessened by what happened a few moments before. Loved the ending cinematic though. And just as I was writing this the credits rolled and I got one last missed call

Just finished. It was the best possible way to end in my opinion but then again I like weird stuff. I never received a call after the credits. :?

He means the call which plays over the credits where Joker sings.
