Never had a problem playing this or AA with m&k, so I've never even tried it with a pad. Might give it a go later.

It all felt a little overwhelming at first, so much to do, so many clues to detect, so many conversations to eavesdrop on, and so many people to punch in the face. Starting to settle in to it now, though, and it feels great.

One thing though, there are all these red Riddler trophies about, that I assumed were ones I just couldn't get to yet, but there was one I was standing right by and I still couldn't pick it up. I assume it being red means something, but what?

It means you need to pick them up as Catwoman.

Am I the only one not terribly fussed about the DLC for this? I never really got into the challenge modes in Asylum, so having extra maps and characters isn't a high priority, especially for the prices on GFWL...

It's pretty much why I wasn't bothered about the multiple retail pre-order exclusives. It was shitty situation but seeing as they were mostly challenge maps... meh.

Or just skins for challenge mode. Couldn't care less.

Although I believe the Robin DLC may include some actual single-player content, will investigate.

According to HotUKDeals, Argos will be selling this for £19.99 tomorrow. You cannot reserve and collect (according to the posts on HUKD).

And seemingly it isn't just specific to one store either  http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/batman- ... st12979920

So, how would you go about collecting? Walk into the shop on the day and hope for the best?

Just bought the CD key for this for £15 on the PC and borrowed my mates disk to install. It looks beautiful on PC and that isn't even with DX11 (heard the patch to fix DX11 is going to drop any day now). Needless to say I'll be trading the Xbox 360 version of this tomorrow. So far I still prefer Asylum over this.

Right, finished this the other day (I have got all the story-related Achievements apart from the Perfect Knight one and New Game +).

Firstly, to get the Perfect Knight one (all the collectables and riddler trophies etc.) do I need to get all of them again my New Game +? I got 440/440 riddler trophies but couldn't really face doing them all again.

Saying that, I probably will go straight into New Game +, which is a rarity for me to replay a game so soon.

It was brilliant, I thought. Totally different from AA at times, but the changes it made didn't hamper it. What's great is that it is different enough so that AA still feels "valid" and not completely irrelevant because of its sequel. AA was tighter, more streamlined and probably had a stronger plot; AC was sprawling, massive and felt like you were in an episode of TAS with all the villains running around over the place. Both are fantastic.

I have yet to play Skyward Sword, but this is GOTY so far for me I think (maybe tied with Super Maro 3D Land).

Also, for the Riddler's Revenge combat challenge, will not getting hit and completing each round with a full combo intact (as in, from the first punch you throw to the final enemy being beaten) generally grant you all three medals?

Looking to 1000/1000 this, y'see. I managed to do it with AA, but have a feeling the challenges will be much harder due to the added combat moves.

As much I like this, I can't help feeling that Asylum is perhaps the better game.

I finished this last night, wow, what an ending. In a way I really hope they don't do a third, I don't see how they can greatly improve upon this without totally diluting the experience, or going backwards in terms of scale and scope.

I believe Riddler challenges carry over to New Game+ but you do have to do all the sidequests again.

Yeah but you can still get 3 medals without one unbroken combo if you use more moves than just punch and counter. For the combat challenges with the guys with the hammer/sickle you can get thousands of points byreapeatedly alternating between punching the sickle guys and then using batswarms. I got like 100K points on one of those levels and 3 medals was 60K.
