Two fantastic games left both worthy winners but the amount ive replayed OOT and that game never gets old and every playthrough is still as enjoyable as my first.

The 50+ hours I put into BotW before my Wii-U died was absolutely marvellous, but I'd always choose OoT over it every time. I just have fond memories of getting back from the pub with a few mates, all of us keen to see what had gamers, the press and the industry alike frothing over, and on firing OoT up for the first time really was quite spectacular. BotW certainly broke new ground and deserves it's many accolades, but OoT? Man, that was a really special moment in gaming. It deserves to oust BotW.
