You shoot things from a first person perspective, ergo its an FPS, albeit one with heavy RPG elements.

I did enjoy the first couple of hours but I've always had trouble getting into any game with a first person perspective as they usually give me motion sickness and quite often induce anxiety when things get hectic.

Metroid Prime, HL2 and Deus Ex are all great games but I've had to stop playing them for the above reason.
