I hate you all.

If GRCade was America I’d be up in a tower with a (paintball) rifle, finishing off my video manifesto, which would probably include phrases such as:

Take this, Nintendo, with your stupid Zelda franchise (except BotW, which I’m enjoying very much)

They voted out all my nominations just to spite me, but this will show the world their rubbish taste in games!

Valve, you could have prevented this by releasing L4D3!

...and so on.

Zelda voters need to be more focused though, we keep splitting between entries!

I mean you could try but there's more of us than you so it's a bit irrelevant. We all dream of a top 5 of Zelda's, with the Wind Waker topping the pile, gooseberry fool boat and all.

There’s 6 (6!) Zelda games left.

It’s not being anti-Zelda, it’s getting rid of 6 versions of the same bloody game.

That’s not the point, we are voting for best games and all 6 Zelda games are much better than many games left on the list. I wouldn’t have an issue if people not choose to ignore worst games.

Out of 6 Zelda games, I’ve played 5 of them and I think they deserve to be in the top 20/30.

I’d say the state of the list makes it clear that we are not and have never voted for the best games.

Although by and large the games you would expect to go early have done, if people really voted according to the best games then the votes would be much more spread out than they are. Instead it comes down to tactical voting between two games.

You'll always get tactical voting, after the first handful of votes come in there will be a front runner - if people want to keep that game in then they will jump on which ever bandwagon looks most likely to achieve that goal.

It's what makes it so much fun though! A secret ballot would be interesting but far less entertaining! :slol:

And seriously, there are 6 strawberry floating Zelda's on here and not one of them is Majora's Mask?! :fp: :fp: :fp: :fp:

I put 2 Zelda's in, I was thinking of adding MM, but 3 may be too much

I would have put it in but I wanted to nominate some other stuff that I felt may have missed out otherwise - so sure was I that one of my upstanding fellow forum members would nominate MM!

I also thought the same with Super Metroid. :fp:

Left 4 dead 2

FPS and Horror are my least favourite genres (besides Sports) so I'm going to keep voting for them to go from now on.

Next we've gotta get rid of this redundancy

29. Doom (1993)
30. Doom II

Never!

The Doom series is amazing, I still play it to this day. Hugely important game in the FPS genre, has barely aged at all in 25 years, one of the most modded games of all time with an active mapping scene even now.

Doom should go before Doom II. But there are many games left on this list that should go first

Too right.

Can't believe there are two games from the same series in the list tbh.

Don't see the problem with having 6 Zelda games in the top 50, it's not like FIFA, they are all different, in case you hadn't noticed. A Link Between Worlds should be gone but people keep voting for WW instead and being out voted, long may that continue. :toot:

Don't think keeping both Doom and Doom II is a problem either but definitely more redundancy than with the Zeldas.
