Want to get a ds, recommend me some games!

Have a few ideas, but I am predominantly lost under the wave of mediocre third party titles.

I got Pokemon Platinum for my birthday. Having never played a Pokemon game before I'm quite impressed with it, it certainly fills the gaps of boredom just before bedtime or on the train.

Also, if you want to get hopelessly addicted to something then I fully recommend Animal Crossing: Wild World.

The only game I've ever solved a puzzle by supergluing toxic waste to the back of a T-Rex's neck.

Isn't the remakes of Pokemon gold/silver due soon? I'd much prefer that too the new ones!

Never had one, I've had 2 psp's thus far though, I seem to lose interest far too quickly though.

And thanks to everyone for some great ideas, loads of amazing sounding jrpg's there to have a blast on, now to just get a cheap ds lite1
