There's plenty of copies now out in the wild from those who have got them early. People setting their location to New Zealand to play digital versions early. There's a lot of hype now to be exploring this game. Unfortunate there's a game breaking bug, but I wouldn't be running into it before that patch comes out and hopefully sorts it, but I feel for those on the One X who now are dependant on that patch to progress the story.

Oh just noticed I had the PS5 version preordered instead of the PS4 one :fp:

I want to play this just to explore London, but a 73 Metacritic makes waiting for the inevitable sale a smarter choice.

I was tempted to buy the game, but I might hold off til Black Friday when it'll no doubt be £30.

I've enjoyed the previous ones and I'll pick it up when it's on a cheap price like under £30.

This line in Metro's GameCentral review of the game tickled me.

Metro GameCentral wrote:...and one bizarre scene where a character visits a pub and is given ale to drink out of a can, instead of a glass. We know it’s supposed to be a dystopia, but nothing else in the game portrays quite that level of barbarism...

It's a game I'd like to play but I'm definitely not paying sixty quid for it. I'll join BOR in awaiting a sale.

I mean I'd avoid it myself but you can definitely get ale in a can...

Given the usual stereotypes I think we should just be grateful the game doesn't show someone being served an ale in a cup and saucer to be honest!

Brewdog comes to mind straight away for ale in a can.

I watched some of the YouTube videos last night, it looks ok, nothing overly massive, the NPC recruitment looks fun and gives you some diversity of tackling missions.

The one thing that was annoying me was the AI of the enemies. They had one section where the player mowed down a enemy with a silenced submachine gun, but the next enemy literally right next to him didn't take any notice and continued doing his job.
