Anyone still into watches? I haven't worn one in years, not even the Apple Watch appeals to me.
I used to have an Omega Seamaster but sold it on eBay for slightly more than what I had paid for it originally as I never wore it that much.

I was just looking into Rolex Submariners just out of interest was not planning to get one. And apparently the waiting list is like 7 years and its not easy to even get on it. Seen them on sale at a local watch resale shop that sells used watches and they are selling brand new ones for more than double the retail  But apparently it's just a recent Rolex craze. I remember seeing Submariners widely available like 8 years ago.

In the future I would like to get maybe a Tudor sports watch (sister company of Rolex) or a Cartier mens watch, something about them they look so classic.

I haven't worn a watch in about 20 years.

I always have basically instant access to the time if I need it via my phone and I have little to no interest in the "fashion" element that a watch may bring so they are an entirely superfluous item in my world.

Yeah me too. But I would like to invest in a nice piece. It just feels nice to have a something metal on your wrist.

I have a Rotary Oxford that my wife bought me. It's understated but classically stylish. I have to say if I was to buy a watch now I'd run a mile from those metal straps. I managed to replace the leather strap on my watch myself with no special tools. When I had a Fossil watch the links fell apart and they wanted to send it off to the factory for almost the cost of a new watch.

I didn't wear a watch for years as having my phone around meant they seemed pretty superfluous. But I recently bought a Huawei GT 2e and I'm finding it really useful. I guess my phone would have done all the step tracking etc but the SpO2 measuring has been good whilst my wife had Covid alongside her asthma.

I used to wear a black rubber-strap Lacoste watch, just your basic jobbie really but once working from home came into force it's gone in a drawer. I got a Fitbit Versa 3 for Christmas which is pretty neat, keeps me active during the day but I don't tend to ever look at it to see what the time is.

I wear a Garmin Fenix 6X. Used mainly for running, but I do prefer looking at a watch for the time than getting my phone out.

I’ve had this Diesel one for about 15 years I think. You press the tips button and it gives random tips messages.

Other than that I’ve got a few generic analogue watches but I don’t really wear anything other than my Apple Watch these days unless I’m going out for a meal or whatever.

I just have a series of cheap, gooseberry fool casio digital watches, the really basic ones, for telling the time when I don't want to get my phone out in the mud. No point getting anything fancy as it will just get wrecked.

I find I have to wear watches all the time or not at all, I just forget if they're an occasional or situational thing.

I wear a Samsung Galaxy watch my partner bought for me as a present. I enjoy having it, but in the age of smartphones watches are largely unnecessary. For the basic function of telling the time, there's not a lot of effort saved between looking at your wrist or looking at your phone.

I appreciate having it, and it's nice to be able to read a message on my watch and quickly reply. It has a lot of functions based around tracking your exercise and monitoring your health, but I don't really make the best use of that.

Parents bought me an Omega Seamaster for my 21st and it remains my most treasured possession. I stopped wearing it regularly a while back though.

If I could have any I suppose it'd be the Tag Monaco
