Right. It's out tomorrow. Let's not clutter up the Last Film thread, or Movie news thread.
Let's do it here.
I'm seeing at first showing in Cheltenham at 12.30

An official thread, but no trailer, no info about the movie...nothing.
Pathetic.

I couldn't come to close to how awesome you'd make it.
I'd rather leave it empty - than fail to measure up to your high standard...
Wanna make a first post?

No point really, most people already know what its about & some people are so overly sensitive that even a trailer will be seen as a spoiler.
Anyway, I won't be able to watch it until Saturday.
And can people please use spoiler tags when discussing the movie.

I think I'll be going to see this alone.
Probably not until the weekend though.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but... I'd have loved a Watchmen animation like that when I was a kid.

July is the current rumoured street date for the Directors cut of Watchmen on DVD/Blu Ray.
There's also talk of the DC being released in cinemas (currently US only) if the movie is a success.

That's actually brilliant. I was really hoping it continued after the credits. Stunning work!

Is this one of those love or hate films? I ask because it's got a mixed reception on Metacritic. And I don't mean mixed in that it's got a few 70s, a load of 50s and a few 30s. The scoring is all over the place, with some respectable magazines giving it full marks. Rarely does a film with a mixed reception get full marks. There's usually a limit to how much someone is ever going to like it.

It's gonna depend on what the viewer/reviewer wants from the film

One of the Ain't it Cool reviews (I know, I know!) actually encompasses both extremes in one appraisal. The reviewer absolutely loved it until the ending.
