I bet next season the tone will be completely back to normal, and Nancy will get on bail while joking with the FBI agents before getting back together with Esteban etc.

Weeds and Californication crossover. Duchovny and Nancy end up in the same prison, have wild sex all the time, Shane and the depressing girl from CF stalk each other and Esteban just takes his baby and strawberry floats off to Mexico never to be heard from again. Duchovny writes Nancy's biography. And thus two good series die a boring, agonizing death.

I liked the opener but it felt like it was only 15 minutes long. Just when it started to get going, it was over.
