That is strawberry floating beautiful. How much is it worth now? Those things must be absolute gold dust - it’s hard enough to get a Rock Band 3 pro guitar!

I don't actually think they're worth much now!! although I'd probably get back the money I spent on it (about £150 with import duty and delivery) as I imported mine when they were discontinued half price in America. It still doesn't work on the Xbox One/Series thanks to Microsoft :( They're pretty rare now though, I have managed to repair mine once when the pump inside seized with a £20 from Germany.

I have a Pro guitar too. Totally forgot about that!! I wish I sold that when they had a value :fp: they were selling for about £300+ once upon a time but when I recently looked on eBay for things I can get shot of they were selling for about £50. It's still pretty awesome plucking away to the TV with zero musical skills to speak of and hearing something resembling the actual song. I should really try to get good at it

The Leather Goddesses of Phobos game - an 80s computer text adventure by the legendary Infocom - included a range of items in the game box, one of which was a "scratch n' sniff" card. At certain points in the game, you'd be instructed to scratch one of seven panels on the card in order to release a scent. Thankfully, considering the somewhat "adult" theme of the game, the actual smells were merely things like "chocolate".

The "scratch n' sniff" card itself:

Still got the game tucked away somewhere up in the loft.

I once owned, albeit very briefly, a Goldberg (WCW wrestler) memory card for the PS1. It wasn't a sticker, it was this utterly ridiculous big piece of moulded plastic, three big screws crudely on the back, bolted on to a cheap third party shitty memory card that almost immediately corrupted and was promptly given back to Electronics Boutique, who then offered me a Lara Croft version of this same shitty product instead, which I declined. I think there was a Duke Nukem one too. This was the summer of 1999.

It is still my ultimate goal to get one of those guitars and try to complete the Rock Band series achievements. I'm not a million miles away, but RB3 will always be the nemesis because so many of them come back to that damn pro-guitar.

My only other issue is that my hands are absolutely destroyed - problems with my knuckles and a massive scar on one of my fingers makes it really hard to play the guitars at all. But we shall push through!

I had an inflatable seat that looked like a tyre in the theme of Rollcage. It came with an old Playstation magazine back in those heady days of the late 90's. It fitted in beautifully with my stolen "men at work" sign and other assorted tat.

Another old but odd one... back in 1984, Computer & Video Games magazine included a free game on the cover - in the form of a "flexi disc". This disc was a very thin plastic flexible disc the size of a 7" vinyl single. Pretty cool... but obviously something that you couldn't just load into your Commodore 64 or ZX Spectrum. You had to play it on your record deck and record it onto cassette which you could then load on your computer!

All a bit of a palava, especially when the game was a very mediocre adventure title based on The Thompson Twins pop group  .

Here's the magazine cover!

Substitute ‘weirdest’ with ‘only’ - that GTA IV safety deposit box included in the special edition. Why oh why did I think that was a good idea? The only thing that’s every been stored in it is an art book of the game...that also came with the special edition.

I’ve still got my GTA San Andreas bandana preorder bonus from GAME (think it might have been Electronics Boutique at the time)

I never actually owned one of these myself - fake post etc - but Cheetah released a wonderfully awful range of themed joysticks for computers back in the early 90s.

Examples include these Alien and Bart Simpson variants:

They look so uncomfortable, impractical and plain weird.

No, mine is grey with the Resident Evil 4 text written on it.

Yes, I had that as well, along with the gold-lined Rockstar duffel bag. Never used either. Sold them on eBay for around £80.

Good luck! I am also stuck on the pro ones too. I've done bass and have guitar, drums and keyboard to go :x

I owned an Ecard reader for GBA at one point, pretty sure my brother has it somewhere. You scanned the barcodes on pokemon cards (I cant remember which set) to play mini games.

Dragon Quest Slime controller. (not my hands in that picture, I don't paint my nails, honestly)

I have two of them, one still in its original packaging. Probably the most impractical PS2 pad I've ever used due to the shape and weight.

Oo, I'm pretty sure I had that too!

It was from CVG, I've still got mine! My son's just getting into Mario so I'll let him have it soon enough (maybe when it's a bit warmer so he isn't playing with a beach ball indoors...)

They also did an inflatable Nina Williams, which was nowhere near as much fun as it sounds.

I have an EA Sports beanie hat from my preorder of FIFA 2001. I also have the Civilization Card Game which came bundled with Civilization Chronicles.
