The worst thing for me is that the evenings are now too hot to have my PS4 on, as the heat it generates and the noise it makes trying to keep cool both combine to put me off playing it. Evenings are also the only time I get to play on my PS4, so it's a rubbish situation for all involved.

I know what you mean. I can't play my racing sims at the moment as the combination of VR plus the physical movement of using a wheel means I become an unbearably sweaty mess. Switch to the rescue.

Switch?

Sure I have my Switch so can play what I've got on there (I guess  ), but I've recently got The Outer Worlds on PS4 and was really getting into it, but now I have to wait for the weather to cool down.

You can enjoy being outside. Sure you can layer up in cold weather and you can get some really pleasant days but you can't eat, or sit out and read a book.

This might be more circumstantial but working long hours in an office I find it really helps me relax to sitting outside.

There are no warm air lovers just people who are too weak to admit they hate it.

I'll keep saying it every year, until this forum I had no idea people didn't like warm weather.

It's okay you can admit it. We won't judge you.

The food stalls at Sapporo Snow Festival say "Hi" ;)

I enjoy being out in the cold. If it's snowing, so much the better. Hiking in the winter is amazing

Conversely I hate being out in hot weather. When I've been stuck in a hot building all day the last thing I want is to be outside in the heat as well

Don't get me wrong, snowy weather can be great. There are few things as enjoyable as beer on the mountain after a morning of snowboarding. All the seasons have their charm, having dogs mean I have to go outside whatever the weather brings but there is something especially nice and relaxing about being out in the sun.

My thing is; I'd love to love summer, to be able to go out walking or sit out in the garden. I love the idea of summer. I don't like the reality of it. I suffer from summer S.A.D, extended bouts of hot days really negatively affects my mood, sometimes quite severely. During an long heatwave I have to get extra medication to get through. And that doesn't get in to the physical effects. For me, the heat is something to endure rather than enjoy. I'm happy for people who enjoy the weather, I tend to get annoyed when told to "stop moaning and enjoy it" from people who do nothing but moan all autumn and winter (not anyone here, more at work).

Just managed to strim and mow the lawn in 15 minutes on my break. The other 15 was sat in the sun, her is Christ it's gorgeous. I could murder a Cadillac margarita out there.

I think I definitely have SAD, anxiety is much worse in the bleak winter months ago I can appreciate how bad that must be.

I like the snowy weather in winter, trouble is though, the country grinds to a halt every time we have a few flakes which is a pain.

There's also the annoying fact that while other countries such as Germany get nice snowy winters, we usually end up with the country under several feet of floodwater.

I've put my alarm clock with a thermometer on it in the freezer so I can take it out later and maybe trick my brain into thinking I'm not strawberry floating boiling alive.

I've always found the evenings in summer to be quite wonderful. I love a roaring fire and a good pub in winter but it's so nice to be able to sit outside in the cool of the day with a good book or your Switch.
