Delicious air conditioned warehouse. 8-)

Working all weekend, though. Would love be outside in a bit of this. Will have to hit the pub on Sunday, even if the outside is guaranteed to be rammed full by the time I get there anyway.

If I didn't have the door to the trade counter where I work open, it would be insufferable

Starting boiling last evening, lost my nut and gave a client an extra two hours at £30 per hour, think the heat got to me cos then I was up until 4am finishing off what I was meant to be doing. At least it's cooler.

I swear it's actually hotter in the evenings here.

It's not too hot on the north coast, 17 degrees. But it's a wet heat it was raining this morning and we're by the sea. Sweating my bollocks off walking home.

My bedroom's like a sauna from May through to September. I've come to realise that the thing that excites me most about moving out next year is being able to sleep properly over the summer.

Same, my bedroom faces the sunrise :( You'd think the heavy curtains I have would keep the sunlight out a bit, but nope, gets roasting, usually wake up sweating. Then my studio room where I do all my music at home is at the opposite end of the house with big fat patio doors, so I'm plagued by the sun all day in summer if I have a lot to do and have to stay inside.

Get some black out blinds! They make such a difference and you'll sleep better with more darkness.

Would it make that much difference when my curtains already keep the room pretty much pitch black during the day if they're closed?

The roller blinds I have definitely stop the heat (as in the front of them are roasting to touch but the back of them are cool). I dunno, I guess it depends on what type you get.

Was 29.1 degrees centigrade earlier in London, hottest day of the year so far.

edit: And it is going to tip it down later this evening in the South West. :datass:

I've had the day off as well. Sun burnt face and a constant puddle of sweat down my back :x. Bring on winter, give me cold, cloudy days with rain and wind :datass:.
