What do people do in the sun all day? I've got back into audiobooks because being in the heat just makes me too sleepy to do much else.

My thing is; I'd love to love summer, to be able to go out walking or sit out in the garden. I love the idea of summer. I don't like the reality of it. I suffer from summer S.A.D, extended bouts of hot days really negatively affects my mood, sometimes quite severely. During an long heatwave I have to get extra medication to get through. And that doesn't get in to the physical effects. For me, the heat is something to endure rather than enjoy. I'm happy for people who enjoy the weather, I tend to get annoyed when told to "stop moaning and enjoy it" from people who do nothing but moan all autumn and winter (not anyone here, more at work).

I've always found the evenings in summer to be quite wonderful. I love a roaring fire and a good pub in winter but it's so nice to be able to sit outside in the cool of the day with a good book or your Switch.

You are evil and everything I hate with the world.

I need winter back so bad. ITS 30c AT 7PM. WHY

Barbecue done, sitting outside all evening drinking wine, going to hopefully see the starlink launch rocket go over and then go in :datass:

32 degrees... god! I want a drink but I can't be bothered to get up. I wanna go to the loo but I can't be bothered to go down the corridor.

This is one of the universal dilemmas - something which has confronted all men since the beginning of time... to pee or not to pee... that is the question.

The thing I dislike about the heat is sweating. If I could simply not sweat then I'd have no problem.

Really nice out in the evenings. Just the sounds of a very fat wood pigeon coming and going off my cherry tree, flapping away like a lunatic as he attempts to balance on a hanging branch that can’t take his weight.

(I’ll probably have some musical blaring out from my neighbour now I’ve wrote that, but the silence is nice while it lasts)

God I'm horny all the time. I can't wait until it goes back to normal and I'm only horny a few times every hour.

We sat outside from 5 until gone 11 last night, sat out in shorts and t-shirt. It was beautiful.

I hear from a very reliable source that if you have too much adrenaline and go to Pizza Express that it can stop you sweating.

Sunny here, but the forecast says 25c instead of the 30c+ we had here yesterday.
