I don’t mind this weather when you don’t have to work in it. Wearing a shirt/trouser combo in this heat is sickening.

Would say it’s cooling down by the weekend but the weather reports just seem to be extending this heat wave on a daily basis, as I’m sure it originally stated Thursday as when it got back to normal....

It is a weekday so there's no guarantees sadly, he was probably there last weekend, but i was out of town.

This is the problem I'm having - I've just been for a nice walk and it's beautiful outside, absolutely baking. Back inside now though and my trousers feel like someone has emptied a hot kettle full of sweat inside them, and my back is streaming with sweat :dread:

Don't people have air-con in their places of work? Shirt and trousers in work is fine as the office is always cool, if it's hot at home then I can whack a t-shirt and shorts on!

We just had an email round from HR that we're allowed to relax the dress code this week as well - need to think of something inappropriate to wear now to fully take advantage of this opportunity! :slol:

spent most of my day yesterday hauling my belongings to my new accommodation from my old flat by foot (they're like five minutes apart)
heat kind of made it harder but it's a small price to pay for all the tanning that the sun been doing

ended the day with a beer and a j in my new garden under the sun; glorious
