28. 30 tomorrow. Then it falls back again.

It’s all good. We conquered the summer of 36 (temperature not year). This’ll be easy.

maybe we should have a poll

I guess my argument to that is: I'd rather be slightly chilly in the morning or at night (not that I ever am at those temperatures) rather than be out and about and being way too hot and sweaty all day

Loads outside my window today, I ordered some spray stuff that lasts a while on window frames/surrounds surfaces etc to try and get rid of them.

The ones around here and wasps have been banging off the windows every few minutes during the afternoon - wtf is going on?

Maybe you should have a bath/shower before stepping outside?

My mum took a cup of chai latté outside to drink in the garden and almost every bee in a mile radius started swarming round it.

Never seen anything like it.

Wasps/bees always become more aggressive and eager to search for food this time of year - I think it's to do with the old nests dying before hibernation. Sends them crazy.

Yeah as we head in to autumn the role of something like a drone wasp has essentially been completed and their nests and source of food are basically dead now. They are on the hunt for any high sugar food source before eventually dying - it's a fun life!

This house still wants to be an oven, despite the cooler weather. Maybe in a few days all the trapped heat will finally have disappeared.

Same. Sucks. Good in Winter though as I save on heating bills.

It's definitely a good thing in winter. Rip that roof off in summer, though, and it probably wouldn't make even a tiny difference.
