strawberry float lofts in the summer.

When I didn't have a spare room to work, I literally had a hole/grovel/den in the attic that was unbearable. Partly because I was running 3 100W incandescent spotlights.

No idea why you should stink of piss though

Amonia. I have anti persperant on and I don't sweat at all from the pits and it smells pissy if it gets too much (which is thankfully only after exercise). Sitting in jeans in that heat for half an hour brought it out though :dread:

Why didn't you just turn on the A/C?

Slept very well last night, but the heat is starting to really sap my energy. Was so groggy this morning.

IT'S SO HOT.

Luckily we have an air con unit in our room so the night times aren't too bad. Best £280 I've spent, don't know how I'd cope without it.

Sat with a jumper on and made the mistake of wearing shorts so my legs are now covered with a other jumper I've borrowed :fp:

The gig was so hot last night that we had to leave after 45 mins. 400 odd people in a small bar watching live music with no windows or air con :dread:

It's forecast to hit 31C in south London later this afternoon :dread: .

Fortunately things should be cooler from tomorrow. We may survive the struggle :toot: .

I went to bed at 8 last night thinking "I've no chance of sleeping in this heat". literally last thing I can remember when I woke up at 6:30 this morning! :)

I hate how quickly everything gets so hot. A good indicator is set honey and coconut oil. Both usually hard, now runny or completely clear.

Along with the ice, I've just bunged plates and glasses in the freezer.

They closed the M25 earlier due to an accident, and of course I was caught up in it all. Didn't move for an hour, and it was absolutely baking hot.

Side point, but it always seems like they're itching to close motorways, for the slightest thing. I'm sure in other countries they try and keep the traffic flowing and/or clear debris etc aside as quickly as possible. But here it's like "Nope, shut it down!" and take as long as possible before re-opening it.

I have taken to always having a fresh bottle of water with me when I get in my car, particularly if I'm going to be getting on a motorway at any point in the journey. The thought of being stuck in a jam in a hot car (my runaround doesn't have A/C :dread: ) without water is horrible.
