It's been wonderful. Little humidity, lotsa sun, the way it should be.

Because people started complaining the office was too cold at the start of last week (when it wasn’t very warm) they decided to shut the air con off completely at the end of the week.....when it was bloody hot!

Going to treat myself to a USB desk fan

We had strawberry floating 90% humidity here the other day, it was horrendous. I was just continually sticky :dread:

I've always had trouble in hot conditions due to poor circulation / cooling , and this current stretch of hot weather is getting to be a bit much. Anything above 21c / 70f and the struggle becomes real. I am tired and knackered all the time!

Someone had a bloody heater on in work again today - it's summer, the sun is shining, how are you cold!?

Wish I had that kind of blood, the sun needs to be barely out and I'm sweating away.

Cow I used to work with was like that. She used to bitch if we put air con and and would sit with a hot water bottle whilst everyone else sweated their nads off.

Portable USB-powered fans are the way to go these days. Especially those with a foldable handle so there's less risk of it falling over.

Today was a real struggle, 35C high with a ‘feels like’ temperature (heat index) of 45C

Two people at work have had portable heaters on these past couple of days. This despite the fact the aircon wasn't working and it was easily 20 degrees in the building. I'm genuinely concerned for their health if they are that cold on a hot summer day.

I wouldn’t say I prefer winter, but I deffo prefer a sunny winters day than a sunny summer one. I think spring / autumn are perfect temperature wise, cool enough you aren’t uncomfortable warm enough you don’t need anything more than a hoodie.
