The heat just needs to up and leave this house. It's nice and cool outside, but this house is still like an oven.

Beers are in the fridge, will be moving outside from lunch time and probably won't come in again until later. Barbecue again as long as the weather holds out :wub:

Work have got a freezer full of lollies and ice creams in the office now as a way of making up for our lack of air-con.

I'd prefer them to fix the actual problems with the building so I'm not roasting alive but I'll take it!

It's definitely a lot cooler today.
Yesterday I was sat in just my pants and socks in the office with all the fans going - thanks to social distancing I have the office to myself, so this wasn't a problem :lol:

Was so nice yesterday. I went up to Hadrian's Wall and met my parents, was deserted even at the hotspots, 28 degrees, perfect. Did a nice walk, had picnic, saw the Wall, had ice cream, barely saw another person. Then the sunset coming back along the military road was amazing.

Quite glad it's cooler today, need to get some work done.

Just had a Crunchie Blast Ice Cream whilst checking my work emails and it was a glorious experience! :datass:

My freezer has just decided to die after I bought a load of ice cream.

Feels even hotter than yesterday, despite what the thermometer says.

A packet of jelly babies got so hot in the car yesterday that they become molten liquid sugar. After a night in the fridge they had reformed into this greasy brown super-jelly spawn, but still tasted eerily unchanged.

Well that was interesting.

Yeah today feels much worse.

I've had all my curtains shut all day as well and I opened my window momentarily as there's a breeze and I felt a rush of hot strawberry floating air come in so I shut it again. This is awful.

Really sunny but much cooler outside here today. It's still very nice but I'm kind of missing the heat from yesterday, it's not often we get to experience it over here

If you like the heat that much go live in a hotter country and take the heat with you.

Because I like lots of other things about the UK, including the varied climate we experience.

Liking the heat is not incompatible with liking other things too!
