We nearly hit 30 the other day, it’s been bloody roasting up here.

I’m not against the heat at all, it’s been lovely outside, but the Stayfever has been worse than usual this year.

It might just be this house that amplifies the heat, really, and there's no escape. Today, there looks a nice breeze outside, MetOffice is saying it's 15C out there. Still feels almost double that in here. Having windows and even doors open does not allow the heat to disperse.

The sheer joy I felt this morning when I could feel fresh, cool air washing over me was glorious.

Drizzle? strawberry floating drizzle!? Is this all you have for me weather? It's the most dull of the weather states, like it can't even be arsed to give us anything real!

Yes, despite the rain (which at one point was horizontal), it's nice to have it cooler.

Had thunder and lightning here most of the afternoon.

Also had thunder and lightning, it was very very frightening.

Was 28 degrees in my garden the other day.

Thunderstorms have no showed here other than a tease on Thursday. Absolute shambles.

no storms at all here in the slough area just rain this morning and early afternoon

Most of the time it’s a lot cooler in Scotland when we have hot weather in the south.

Been cooler here today with a lovely breeze every so often, no thunderstorms of note though
