London is generally quite hot but the record temperatures usually come from elsewhere in the country, I think it's held by Cambridge at the moment and by my recollection it was Kent and Cheltenham before that.

I'm resorting to takeout for dinner tonight, no way im turning on my oven strawberry float that.

The heat has broken here in South West London. Grey clouds, breeze, drops of rain and thunder.

Spent a bit of time in the garden today and just about survived, but it's really cooled down now - which does mean I can play TLoU2 which I'm happy with.

Clouded up here now thankfully and the temperature has dropped a bit.

I think the experience of living in a new build has served me well. The old house was simply insane as new build are built to be energy efficient i.e. retain heat.

Now that I'm in an older house it's not quite as oppressive.
