Definitely cooled off over the course of the day so far, nowhere near as humid now, still reading 20c though but compared to the past few days this is bliss :datass:

To be fair to BBC weather, rain/thunder predicted at 2pm, arrived at 1:55pm

Leafy West Sussex here, but guess what? We've had jack gooseberry fool. It's the same as yesterday but slightly less hot. Still no strawberry floating rain.

Much cooler today which is lovely, though despite being dry all morning, i ended up with heavy rain as soon as i headed into town.

No thunder so far though.

The clouds are gathering here, the thunder's started...bring it on :datass:

Been such an odd day weather wise here, now back up to 23c and really close again, wish we’d have a thunderstorm but the skies show no sign of one soon

Had a couple of thunder rumbles and a brief downpour but that's it so far

Lovely breeze today. Feels like we're finally free.

Surprised to read all the posts from today, I've been thoroughly enjoying the significantly cooler and fresher weather and I assumed it would be the same everywhere else!

Had more downpours through the afternoon, but nothing too major, no thunder either.

We've had rain this afternoon and I think I live roughly 10 miles away from you. My parents went to my brother's house in Partridge Green and they didn't have any rain either.

all the rain from the past 2 weeks is arriving all at once :dread:

Had some intense lighting over here the last 40 mins or so non stop flashing of lighting endless distant rumbles of thunder is cool too watch the lightshow
