Why would she make love to the other host, black hat villain guy if she's aware her feelings are just programmed, why would she care if everything is a lie. Surely convincing him to help her in her plan was enough, why would they both then strawberry float each other? Even if they do still 'care' and indulge their intimate programmed feelings, the way they presented it just seemed the show creators just did it for the sake of having some romantic scene.

If you found out right now you were a robot I doubt you would just drop all the things in your life and suddenly give a gooseberry fool about nothing. If you know you can survive death, and also need to kill yourself for a plan, why not die in a fire while shagging some rugged outlaw dude? Also you are a woman in this scenario.

Last sentence is unnecessary.

To be fair I found that scene really weird as well, who the strawberry float wants to be burned to death - would be absolute agony.

So he was a "good" guy after all.

Can't wait for the next season.

Only 3 episodes into this but quite enjoying it. Not sure it's outstanding or antyhing

So there's 2 parks right?

The 2 young chaps (one of whom is McPoyle from IASIP) story line seems completely disconnected from everyone else with no cross over - other than one of two hosts (e.g. Delores) but they could be copies of the same host surely? They've copy/pasted characters, can biological housing be that hard...although why would they...they've mentioned Delores is one of the oldest, maybe there's lots of her about

Also fairly sure someone (or more than one) in the real world is going to be Faux Person. Jeffrey Wright and/or his female counterpart (that stole the kiss) are the prime suspects

WTF. Not sure where season 2 can go. Maybe abandon the western and do one of the other themes - then tie them together at the end of season 2 whilst bring in a third world at the end?

Great finale. There was a scene after the credits if you missed it.

Superb series, great ending! Shame I knew who MIB was by about episode 3 thanks to neogaf hive mind open speculation. Mental note, next series don't read any gaf recap threads.

reckon that would be a perfect place to leave that park, next series focus on samurai world or whatever it will be called. Loved the twist that mauve wasn't really escaping and it was Robert's plan... was he keeping her away from the mayhem, or sending her to another park?

It said Park 1 on the guy's note, so there's definitely another park, probably multiple.

Reading GAF has ruined every single twist for me too. Literally everything was predicted right weeks ahead of time

I've already read a theory about season 2 regarding Ford's death. That it wasn't actually him, but a copy of himself. That's who he was creating in the basement in an earlier episode.

strawberry floating guarantee that it's correct, too :fp:

I need to stop reading about this show online.

Yeah, it was a shame so many of the twists and reveals were figured out well in advance. Meant that it lost a lot of it's impact when they actually happened.

I know, it was open too, not even spoiler tagged and before I realised it is was balls deep in, "oh strawberry float that's going to be who that is, gooseberry fool I wish I hadn't read that" territory.

Wake
From your sleep
The drying of
Your tears
Today
We escape
We escape

It was just... perfect

The Ford that was shot was totally the host that was being built in his basement. There was too much focus on the handshake between him and Bernard, and as we know, a simple handshake can give them away...

Astonishing ending.

Got really angry with my mate when I asked him if he liked the show and he said
"Yeah, it's alright."

:fp:
I called him some very unpleasant names.

Up to 1x05

I was wrong when I said 2 parks, wasn't it? They're just showing events from more than 1 timeline (Delores memories have been bleeding together...)

So William and his friend (does he have a name) are totally much earlier in events...they've mentioning buying the park from the 2 chaps...which Ford said was years ago...30-35 years right?

Plus they've run into a Lawrence when Ed Harris has just killed him (Not sure how that helped Teddy...does Host blood work that way?)...although that could also support 2 parks/multiple versions of hosts...

Trying to keep track of what Delores you're seeing and what she's experiencing/remembering is getting confusing.

I thought the talks between Delores/Bernard might actually be between Delores/Arnold (and Bernard is a host copy) but then they referenced "present" Ford conversations with Delores, so that put the kabosh on that theory.

No idea what's happening with Maeve...she seems to be breaking out more than Delores (who I assumed was supposed to be "the star")

William's future brother in law is Logan.

1x10
- It managed to be a satisfying finale even if literally every single plot twist had been guessed in advance.

-I laughed at Steven Ogg and Ed Harris' joy at the murders.
- Samuraiworld! :o
-Hopkins was excellent as Ford but I think it would cheapen his arc if he returns next season. I won't complain though.
-Literally no mention or sighting of Hemsworth or Elsie. Are we to assume they're both dead?

A very strong first season and now we wait until 2018. :simper:
