We don't do anything for it really, we have other days more important to us.
I've never really saw the reason for Valentine's day really.

The gf really enjoys valentines, i think because she's foreign.

She also know's i dont pariculary like it so likes to embarrass me. Last year she decorated my desk at work (she works at the same place) this year decorated my car.

I cooked her a nice meal and got her a card and some flowers. Still dont like Valentine's and think its very commercial/cringy, but it makes her happy. :wub:

I only twigged it was Valentine's Day when I was in Asda last night and there was like 10 men fighting over boxes of Milk Tray.

Spent the evening alone

The funny thing with Valentine's day is you get all the usual soppy loved up stuff on FB then a week or month later they split up gotta laugh at that.

Valentines day "my babez cooked me dinner i'm so lucky man of my life 4ever" meal and candles at the table photo on facebook roses everywhere etc or "he sent me flowers to werk, i'm so lucky and special"

a month later "can't believe, i trusted him piece of scum broke my heart , neva trusting men again i'm so upset" something like that

It's a pretty sad state of affairs that what seems to be the majority of couples only have this one day assigned to show each other any affection (or at least beat about it).

I went to work 07:00-20:00. My wife worked a split 11:30-16:00 and 17:30-23:30(ish). We also shall not partake in any social media loving. I bought her a card and some chocolates which I have now eaten two thirds of since arriving home from work in her absence.

Another successful Valentines day.
