I know there is:Resident Evil 5, Halo Wars and Halo 3 Recon but apart from that I cant think of anything too exciting. Is Final Fantasy gonna be out next year? 2009 certainly doesnt look as good to me as 2008 which in turn isnt as good as 2007. What do you guys think?

There are no games scheduled for release in 2009. Sorry.

I'm loving 2008, but if you'd asked me in Nov 2007 - I wouldn't have been overly excited.

So let's wait and see :)

Art Style COLORIUM (name changed slightly just to be awkward)
Fable II DLC
A first-person Mario game. Like Mirror's Edge but with Goombas and better jumping.
Mother 3
Ouendan 3
Captain Rainbow localisation
The Turquoise Box
Guitar Hero: Lemonheads

EDIT: Gah, sorry, I missed the part where you didn't put "in your dreams".

Best. Title. Ever.

I wish more games had Ronseal titles like that. Indeed, that's given me an idea...

These last two years have been a real wallet raper. I'm adamant it'll just be Killzone 2, SFIV and RE5 for me. But I know the industry like bastards like they are, will entice me with more stuff.

Alan Wake, Heavy Rain and Final Fantasy XIII are also lurking around my interests.

Resident Evil 5, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake and Halo 3: Recon will do for me at the moment.

I think we'll see a lot of good racers, for some reason.
Forza 3, GT 5, a new Burnout and a Formula 1 game will turn up, in my opinion. And a Daytona remake.

A Daytona Remake would make my year, even an Xbox Live version of the two Arcade classics would be nice with 720p, 16:9 modes.

Aye that would do! I tell you what would be equally awesome though mate - if Namco really stepped up their game and gave the Ridge Racers a HD lick of paint.

Pretty much came in here to say this. Oh, and even if it doesn't come out - lots of info about the new Team Ico game will more than make next year a good one.

It can't possibly be worse than this year, that's for sure.

2007 was the high point in gaming releases, closely followed by 2004.
