There really are some incredibly toxic people around.

Ooblets devs deserve none of that hate whatsoever, but it was upsetting reading their PR announcement of Epic Store exclusivity thinking "oh no stop you're making this worse for yourselves". Good evidence for why having a professional handle PR can be very valuable, even if ideally you shouldn't need it.

You're probably right. It'd be a non starter anyway as all the people I know who have had/died of cancer were nice people/children. God truly does move in mysterious ways.

Both in the USA and UK you get pocky in either Oriental style food shops or occasionally on the ethic/different cultures food isle in other shops. Pocky is great there's lots of different interesting flavours and its something lots of like otaku type nerds go looking to buy. I assume she's mentioning it to seem all nerdy and more accessible to geeky young guys.

I'm 42 and been a gamer since I was about 7 but I've never been interested at all in gamer culture. I don't give a gooseberry fool about E-Sports or streamers and I don't do social media. I'm sure I'm not alone in loving gaming as a hobby but just not being interested in anything more expanded than this place and gaming magazines.
