I met Sting at a bar once. Also, James Nesbitt at a restuarant. I was actually about seven meters away from president Bill Clinton once but I never actually talked to him so I don't thnk it counts.

So he's your father's/mother's cousin? You're his second cousin?

Oh oh! I've got one - I've seen Lenin's body!

Surely that counts, right? Right?

Neil Gaiman has a messianic quality that I've never seen in another human being.

Went to an England training session when they played Turkey and saw that BBC Sport (I think) reporter as well.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

Cool. I was only 14/15 at the time but he was a strawberry floating giant. Built like a house.

Peter Shilton and the Ataris.

Add Phil Collins into the mix and you got a Mother strawberry floating super band right there.

A bloke I currently work with shagged the girl who played Dr Who's assistant when they were at drama school together in the seventies. That's pretty impressive, it's like shagging Billy Piper now! Even though Chris Evans did that. But you know what I mean.

Mr Blobby and the cast of the singing kettle when i was young. Other than that i can only think of Robbie Coltrane who i see like once a month at work. My gran went to school or something with David McCallum (Illya Kuryakin from ' The Man From U.N.C.L.E) and got me his autograph when i was young. I feckin loved that program. 8-)

When in New York a couple of years ago I met Sean Connery. Well...I saw him walking down the street. My mate ran after him (which I didn't really want to do) and the only thing she could think of to say was "Do you know where Bloomingdales is?" :fp: He looked so old. Like, completely shrivled up. Make up ftw.

Also on this holiday I saw Julianne Moore in Quicksilver. I seemed to be the only one in there who recognised her. I didn't dare go up to her though as she was with her kids shopping. Didn't want to be rude. She was really pretty, but I think she could tell I kept staring.

That's it really. I'm not too bothered about meeting famous people, but I was insanely jealous of some mates about 5 years ago, as they met Terry Kiely aka Karl Fletcher from Dream Team. I loved that show!

Rhino and Hunter from Gladiators
Alan Moore (You see him round town all the time. He personally signed my copy of LoEG)
Nick Frost (during filming of Kinky Boots. He was filming in a pub round the corner from where I used to live, and I saw him on my way home from school. I was gonna get him to sign my burned copy of Shaun of the Dead, but thought better of it)

I went to one of those MPH shows a few years back and he replaced Hammond whilst he was recovering from his accident on the "live show" performance. He took a lot of ribbing from Clarkson in good spirits about how Fifth Gear was their "poor relation" and all that :D Probably the most knowledgable motoring journalist too.

Speaking of racing, Martin Brundle's father doesn't use anything like a microwave, television or modern technology, which I found most strange for someone who's son has such links to a high-tech industry. He also looks scarily like the Archbishop of Canterbury Dr. Rowan Williams. However he was most complimentary about my football skills, so I'll be nice ;)
