Wasn't a veggie.

I think the diary/letters of his secretary or something mentioned his diet. He did eat meat, however he was very fussy about what he would eat and followed a lot of the healthy eating fads of the day.

Oh hang on a minute, the serious point is that, like it or not, Mr Hitler was a human being just like us all, and millions of other idiot human beings supported him. He wasn't from another universe or something. We are all tarred with the same brush I'm afraid.

As to Mr Glitter - I'm sure he is guilty but his life is ruined and he has served his time - his own tough gooseberry fool, yes But does the press deserve the right to hound in its typically nauseous way ??

Yes but they were utterly shite landscapes !! He hadn't one ounce of talent. He was a complete failure little man, then one glimpse of 'respect' and the whole thing goes to his head and before you know it he's invaded Poland. Nothing so disastrous as a man who starts to believe his own myth.

Are there actually any examples of his paintings anywhere? I've never seen one.

Also the fact that he was able to re-stabilize the German economy when it was effected the worst by the depression is pretty amazing.

Didn't he test the poison he used to commit suicide on his dog first? That doesn't sound to me like the actions of a caring dog owner, if he'd lived I'm pretty sure he'd have been banned from owning dogs again.

Every Nazi soldier carried a suicide pill, y'know. Stored in a secret place so that it could be taken if they were captured. It was illegal not to commit suicide if you were captured by the enemy in the Nazi Regime, IIRC.
