Is this controversial? I thought the general consensus was Origins was a good Batman game just not as good as Rocksteady’s trilogy.

Some of these are dubiously positive, in a I can make myself taller by standing on someone else’s neck, kind of way.

Knack was a PS+ monthly game when I was briefly signed off sick and I thought I'd give it a go. I ended up being hooked and finishing it in a couple of days.

YES.

It still saddens me how it underperformed. I'm in love with the soundtrack as well, it's worth a listen if anyone has an interest in symphonic metal and synth stuff.

Dragon Age II was good, just suffered from some fairly obviously mistakes. The cookie-cutter dungeons, some stripping back of ROG elements and the over-reliance on combat. Some of it had a whiff of an MMO which Inquisition went even further with.

But it had some great ideas. I enjoyed the combat system, the side characters and their stories were great. The plot was a lot more low key and I liked the idea of setting it in one big town over the course of a number of years. Having a voiced protagonist helped as well.

The main problem was that it was called "Dragon Age 2". They should have probably just had it as a spin-off and I think it would have been much more warmly received.

This. If you’re saying ‘x is better than y’, y should be a game that you like and that other people also like.

The worst thing about the negative feedback the game received was that the daft buggers at Bioware/EA decided that the best way to fix the sequel was to do away with the great combat system and award winning accessible controls and turn it into a generic 3rd person action adventure with overly complicated controls that meant disabled gainers like myself couldn't play it.

So yeah, thanks EA.

Think it fits in with the initial question.

Only having 400 Pokémon in the Galar Pokédex was a fantastic idea, whether it was down to lack of staff/time or a decision long before doesn’t bother me too much. It had more than enough variety of old and new Pokémon and as it was only 400 strong completing the dex wasn’t a huge struggle. If in the next full games (and as the DLC for Sword/Shield seems to be doing for a couple of hundred more) it fills in a lot of the gaps of the national dex on Home then even relative newcomers (or folk like myself who weren’t really fussed about a full Pokédex beforehand) can start to get a collections of Pokémon that will hopefully be supported via Home for the foreseeable future. Sword and Shield are also very good Pokémon games, not the best but still very enjoyable entries into the series.

Galaxy 2 definitely does some things better than 1, but I prefer 1 for the story and atmosphere.

It's such a bizarre hybrid of things to. Heck the story is actually Lovecraftian.

Thought of a couple more for the Uncharted series - Golden Abyss is a solid entry and as good as the original, and Uncharted 3 is also great because of some fantastic individual set pieces and improved gameplay mechanics.

I still have the uncontroversial opinion that 2 and 4 are the best entries, but GA and 3 are closer behind than general consensus seems to place them.

The Wii U is a brilliant console that suffered from poor naming and marketing.

It was a good console but, even now, I'm forgetting it ever existed. Whether that's because the name makes me see the Wii and Wii U as one and the same, I'm not sure. But I can see myself in five years time thinking back to the Wii U and thinking "oh gooseberry fool, I DID own one of those!" and just remembering it as a funny curio.

It probably has a lot to do with it running Wii games and then its best titles being ported to the Switch. Poor U is just a forgettable stepping stone.
